During our cruises, you'll have the opportunity to visit a different tavern each day. Our captains, with their extensive local knowledge, will be delighted to share their experiences and guide you to taverns renowned for their specialties. Few people know that Preveza is famous for its succulent shrimp, which were even mentioned in a James Bond film. In Lefkada, you can indulge in the finest handmade ice cream and savor exquisite tuna steaks. Meganisi beckons with its must-try grilled fish, and in Sivota, you simply cannot miss the delectable orange cake.
Each destination offers its own unique culinary delights, turning your voyage into a gastronomic adventure. Our aim is to immerse you in the authentic flavors of Greece, making your experience both memorable and satisfying.

The Ionian Sea is renowned for its ideal sailing conditions, characterized by sheltered and tranquil waters. This makes it the perfect destination for sailors of all levels. Everyone will have the opportunity to take the helm under the guidance of our experienced captains, and those interested can receive the captain's endorsement necessary to complete their sailing internship.

Sample route*:

Day 1: Lefkas - Embarkation at 5:00 PM, safety and yacht handling training. Tour of Lefkas and, for those willing, dinner at La Vinaria, the best tuna steaks on the island!
Day 2: Lefkas – Meganisi Spartohori. We start our cruise with a ceremonial weighing of anchor and head south to cross the channel and head further towards Meganisi, on the way we stop for a swim and admire the private island of Skorpios. We sail to the Babis and Panos tavern with a private beach at their bar, and the must-see town of Spartahor and a fantastic beach bar at the end of the bay.
Day 3: Meganisi Spartohori - Itaka Vathi. We visit the Papanikolis cave on the south side of Meganisi and head towards Itaka, stopping for a swim at the island of Atokos, or at a beautiful beach on Itaka.
Day 4: Itaka Vathi - Sami Kefalonia. We sail west to stop in a bay on Kefalonia where we can swim inside a cave while admiring the beautiful turquoise water and pine forest, or get to Sami earlier and rent quads there and explore the entire island.
Day 5: Sami Kefalonia – A Bay on Ithaca. We head east to reach a beautiful bay and spend the night there, discovering all its charms.
Day 6: Ithaca Bay - Sivota Lefkada. Today we sail to a hidden bay in Lefkada. There is a beautiful port with many bars and a small beach.
Day 7: Sivota Lefkada – Lefkas. We head towards Lefkas, not forgetting a swim along the way.
Day 8: Lefkas. Departure of the yacht by 9:00.

Getting to the yacht:

The essence of our Greek Island cruises is to ensure that from the moment you step aboard our yacht, all practical concerns are handled by us. This allows you to simply relax and relish your holiday in Greece. In line with this principle, we’ve explored all possible routes for you to reach our yacht at Lefkas port, aiding in your holiday planning and ensuring a seamless and comfortable journey.

Airports:

Aktion/Preveza (PVK) -This is the closest airport to our base, located about 25 minutes by taxi/bus from our yacht.

Athens (ATH) - the airport serving the most flights at affordable prices. We recommend it especially to people looking for the cheapest flights, and guests who want to spend a day or two there sightseeing in the capital. Getting to us is easy and fast, you can get there directly by KTEL bus (<5h), by bus organised by us, or by taxi (~3.5h).

Thessaloniki (SKG) - another airport with a rich network of connections. As with Athens, there is a KTEL bus here and we can organise a bus or taxi. The time and price of transport is similar to that from Athens.

Corfu (CFU) - The second airport in terms of distance from our yacht. An excellent option for those who want to see Corfu. Getting from there is extremely easy, you can take a small ferry directly to our base, or faster by a large ferry (1:15-2h) to Igoumenitsa where a bus will be waiting for you, or a taxi (~1h). There is also a KTEL bus connection, but it runs less frequently than from large cities.

Mini Bus/Taxi:

Our driver will be waiting for you at the Arrivals Hall of airport holding a sign with your name on it and take you directly to our yacht in Lefkas port if you arrive on the day of your cruise or to your hotel in Lefkas if you arrive prior to the day of your cruise.

If you have chosen to spend a few days in Athens or Thessaloniki first, our driver will pick you up from your hotel at your preferred time (ideally around 1-2 p.m.) to bring you to the yacht in Lefkas, but we can also arrange for your transfer from the airport to your hotel in the city.

Similarly, after your cruise we can arrange for your transfers between our yacht in Lefkas and Athens airport / your hotel in Athens / Piraeus port (if you plan to take a ferry from Athens to the Aegean Islands).

An 8 seater minibus will fit 8 passengers with their luggage, provided of course that they are not the extra large type of luggage.

The prices (one-way) for the minibus (NOT per person) are:

- 8-seater between Athens (airport or city center) and Lefkas: 550 Euro Travel time: 3.5h

- 8-seater between Preveza (airport or city center) and Lefkas: 50 Euro Travel time: 25 min

National Bus (KTEL):

From Athens:

The bus departs from Athens central bus station or Lefkas bus station few times a day.

The buses are modern and comfortable, the route is very nice on a new motorway and the ticket costs 40 Euro one-way or 80 Euro return. Travel time is less than 5 hours with a break in the middle.

Options for traveling between Athens airport and Athens Kifisou bus station:

The Express bus X93 runs between the Arrivals / Departures of Athens airport and the central bus station, the ticket costs 8 Euro and the journey would take you 60 minutes. You can buy the ticket from the kiosk next to the bus stop, or directly from the driver. This bus departs every 35 minutes during the day (05:00 - 24:00) and every 60 minutes during the night (24:00 -05: 00).
A taxi ride between the airport and bus station would cost around 40 Euro and the journey would take around 45 minutes.

Options for traveling between your hotel in Athens city center and Athens Kifisou bus station:

A taxi from your hotel to Athens central bus station would cost around 15 Euro and the journey would take around 10-20 minutes (depending on traffic). Your hotel will book the taxi for you.
Local bus, but we wouldn't recommend this option as it is not too easy to find the bus stop.

BOOKING:

All our cruises start and end on Tuesday, ensuring the best experience for our guests. By beginning mid-week, we sail without the crowd of other charter boats that typically start on Saturday. This timing allows us to enjoy the islands almost alone on Friday and Saturday, as most other boats will have returned to their base in Lefkas.

Whole yacht booking on S/Y Mythos II:

You can book the whole yacht (up to 8 guests) for 1 week (Tuesday - Tuesday) for 10950 Euro. If you book by the 31st of December you are entitled to an early booking discount, taking the price to 10400 Euro.

Price includes:

Captain, cook / hostess, ensuite air-conditioned cabins, half board, VAT, Greek taxes, yacht insurance, fuel, water, mooring fees, all running costs of the yacht, limited Internet, beer, wine, ouzo, non -alcoholic drinks, bed linen, towels, deck towels, 3 hours of air-conditioning every night.

Price does not includes:

Dinners, flights, transfers from/to yacht, your personal travel insurance, additional air-conditioning time (10 euro/1h) tips for the crew (it's customary to tip the crew 10% of the charter fee, provided of course that you are happy with their service).
